Welcome to the Employee Well-Being HCI Academy Micro-Credential course!

This course is designed to take approximately 8-10 hours to complete.

Learning Outcomes for this Course Include:

1. Analyze the concept of psychological safety and identify strategies for fostering healthy workplace relationships.
2. Evaluate the shift from work-life balance to life harmony and apply practices that promote personal and professional well-being.
3. Develop sustainable healthy habits that enhance well-being both inside and outside the workplace.
4. Apply the principles of the Motives Met framework to create meaningful and fulfilling work experiences.
5. Explain the role of spiritual intelligence and how it complements emotional intelligence in the workplace.
6. Demonstrate the importance of empathy and positive psychology in leadership, self-management, and cultivating well-being-centered organizational cultures.

In the Employee Well-Being self-paced, asynchronous 8-10 - hour upskilling micro-credential course, you will complete the following 5 Guest Discussion sessions:

- Guest Discussion 2 - Replacing a Search for Balance with Finding Harmony in Your Life
- Guest Discussion 3 - Maintaining Healthy Habits In and Out of the Workplace
- Guest Discussion 4 - Work Life Well-Lived: The Motives Met Pathway to No-B.S. Well-Being at Work
- Guest Discussion 5 - How Spiritual Intelligence Can Complement Emotional Intelligence

In each session, you will need to watch the approximately 25-30 - minute video, reflect on your key take-aways and personal and organizational application, and participate in the discussion forum.

You will also watch the following topical explainer videos (approximately 10 minutes each) and reflect on your key take-aways and personal and organizational application:

Additionally, you will be required to complete and apply three readings, a learning activity, personal and organizational assessment activities, a podcast listening assignment, a short course exam, final application assessment, a final learning reflection, and a course evaluation in order to finish the course.

Once you have completed all of the course requirements, you will receive a micro-credential certificate and achievement badge, which you will be able to include in the education, certificates, and achievements section on your LinkedIn profile and on your resume.
